Welcome to Keele University UKIP, the official branch of Young Independence to the students of Keele University and Newcastle-under-Lyme.

We are very active branches who have had the pleasure of hosting a number of senior party figures including local UKIP MEP Mike Nattrass and more recently, Deputy Party Leader David Campbell Bannerman.

We are lucky in that our EU region of the West Midlands is such an active region for UKIP. This enables us as a society to get involved in a number of ways. There is always a social presence nearby, whether it be just a visit around the local nightlife, or for the serious politically minded young people, we have plenty of rallies and meetings around the region. The last rally was on February 12th, where we had the opportunity to meet party leader Nigel Farage, but more excitingly, celebrity Chef Rusty Lee. Photos will follow soon.
